Turkish Pilgrims Praise Makkah Route Initiative for Streamlined Procedures and Enhanced Comfort

Istanbul: Several pilgrims benefiting from the Makkah Route Initiative in Istanbul praised the high level of organization and smooth procedures at the initiative's dedicated terminal, noting that the services provided created an atmosphere of comfort and reassurance and facilitated their journey to the Kingdom to perform Hajj rituals with ease.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative, one of the Ministry of Interior's initiatives under the Pilgrim Experience Program, a key component of Vision 2030, continues for the fourth consecutive year to provide integrated services to pilgrims in Istanbul.

The initiative enables pilgrims to complete their procedures in their country of departure, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition to the Kingdom through an integrated system that reflects the quality of services provided to the pilgrims.

The initiative is distinguished by the presence of qualified personnel fluent in several languages, including Turkish, Arabic, and English, to facilitate communication with pilgrims and provide clear guidance. Procedures are completed through a unified system comprising document verification, biometric data collection, issuance of entry permits, and the electronic coding of luggage linked directly to pilgrims' accommodations in Makkah.
