According to Saudi Press Agency, after rainfall, Tribulus blossoms and produces fruits with soft, harmless spines. As these fruits dry, the spines harden into sharp thorns, facilitating seed dispersal by adhering to clothing and animal fur.

Beyond its thorny exterior, Tribulus stabilizes soil, reduces erosion, and serves as a vital food source for desert wildlife. This plant’s role in the integrated ecosystem highlights its importance in maintaining biodiversity within these challenging environments.
