Jazan: The Jazan branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, in collaboration with the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification (NCVC), has launched an initiative to plant trees across Farasan Islands to enhance vegetation cover, aligning with the Kingdom’s broader environmental goals of improving ecosystems and combating desertification. A large number of native trees and plant species will be planted.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative not only supports the restoration of local biodiversity but also contributes to the preservation of the surrounding marine environment.
