Riyadh:The First Translation Association Conference commenced in Riyadh, organized by the Translation Association in collaboration with the College of Language Sciences at King Saud University. The event is held under the theme "Translation in a Transforming World" and sees participation from officials, researchers, academics, and specialists.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the conference program includes two main sessions, over 18 research papers, 12 workshops, and an accompanying exhibition, with contributions from more than 15 entities. The activities are aimed at benefiting over 300 participants.
The discussions at the conference focus on the future of translation, technological advancements, and innovation within the field. They also explore the role of scientific research in the sector's development and the alignment of academic outcomes with labor market needs. Additionally, the conference highlights translation's role in cultural and knowledge exchange, promoting collaboration among specialists and related entities.
