Tourism Ministry Unveils Extensive International Investment in Saudi Arabia’s Tourism Sector

Riyadh: The Ministry of Tourism has released a special report titled "Global Investments in Saudi Tourism", showcasing the significant influx of international investors entering and expanding within the Kingdom's tourism market, with over 50 global hospitality brands actively expanding their footprint in Saudi Arabia. The report was launched during its participation in the Future Hospitality Summit, held in Riyadh on June 22 to 24, 2026. According to Saudi Press Agency, driven by robust inbound and domestic demand and an integrated investment ecosystem, the Kingdom has firmly established itself as having the largest tourism development pipeline in the Middle East and one of the largest globally in terms of growth momentum and luxury room supply. The special report highlights a substantial capital influx, with new tourism investments surpassing $120 billion. This surge supports a development pipeline that is expected to add more than 200,000 new keys by 2030, of which around 50% are expected to be delivered by the private sector. A central focus of the report is the growth-enabling environment created by Saudi Arabia, which has become a decisive factor in attracting global capital seeking rapidly emerging destinations.
