Tourism Ministry Conducts over 47,000 Inspections of Hospitality Facilities in H1 2025

Riyadh: During the first half of 2025 (H1), the Ministry of Tourism carried out over 47,000 inspection tours of tourism hospitality facilities, including hotels and apartments, across multiple regions and cities throughout the Kingdom, resulting in the identification of approximately 21,000 violations.

According to Saudi Press Agency, these inspection tours are part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the sustainability of the tourism sector and ensure that hospitality facilities and tourism activities comply with approved rules and regulations.

It emphasized the importance of maintaining high-quality services across all hospitality facilities, warning that penalties for violations may include fines of up to SAR1 million, facility closures, or both.

The ministry also encouraged everyone to submit their inquiries and comments by calling the unified tourism center at 930.
