Thunderstorms and Heavy Rain Expected Across Multiple Regions

Jeddah: The National Center for Meteorology has forecasted moderate to heavy thunderstorms accompanied by torrential rain, hail, and strong winds for several regions, including Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, Riyadh, Qassim, Hail, the Northern Borders, and the Eastern Region. Additionally, light to moderate rain is anticipated in Madinah and Al-Jouf, with the possibility of fog forming in some areas.

According to Saudi Press Agency, wind patterns over the Red Sea are expected to be northeasterly to northwesterly, with speeds ranging from 20 to 45 km/h in the northern and central parts. In the southern part, winds will shift from southeasterly to northeasterly at speeds of 15 to 50 km/h. Wave heights might vary from half a meter to more than two meters, resulting in choppy sea conditions.

In the Arabian Gulf, the winds will predominantly be northerly to northwesterly, with speeds between 15 and 45 km/h. Wave heights could also range from half a meter to over two meters, with the sea conditions expected to be relatively calm to choppy.
