Thunderstorms and Gusty Winds Expected in Several Regions

Riyadh: Thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds are predicted to affect parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and the southern highlands of the Makkah Region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, these conditions are expected to lead to reduced visibility on the coastal road leading to Jazan.

Gusty, dust-stirring winds will impact areas including Makkah, Madinah, Hail, Qassim, Riyadh, Eastern, and Najran regions. The winds are anticipated to be particularly strong along the coastal road, potentially affecting travel and outdoor activities.

Over the Red Sea, winds will range from northwesterly to westerly at speeds between 20-50 km/h in the southern part, with wave heights varying from one meter to over two meters. The sea condition is expected to be calm to choppy, affecting maritime activities.

In the Arabian Gulf, the forecast indicates northwesterly to westerly winds at speeds of 20-42 km/h in the northern and central parts, and westerly to southwesterly winds at speeds of 12-32 km/h in the southern part. Wave heights will range from half a meter to two meters, creating calm to choppy sea conditions.
