Thunderstorms and Gusty Winds Expected in Eastern Region

Manama: The National Center for Meteorology has forecasted thunderstorms accompanied by hail and gusty winds in parts of the Eastern Region. Fog is expected to form in these areas, while dust-stirring winds are anticipated in the Al-Jouf and Northern Borders regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will vary, with northwesterly to northerly winds in the northern and central parts at speeds of 10-25 km/h, and southeasterly to southwesterly winds in the southern part at speeds of 12-35 km/h. Waves are expected to range from half a meter to one and a half meters, and the sea is predicted to remain relatively calm.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be southeasterly to southerly in the northern and central parts at speeds of 15-38 km/h. There will be a shift to northeasterly to easterly winds, changing to southwesterly to westerly in the evening, with speeds of 12-50 km/h. Waves are expected to range from half a meter to over two meters, and the sea conditions will vary from calm to choppy.
