Riyadh: Thunderstorms are anticipated over the highlands of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions, accompanied by gusty winds affecting these areas and extending to parts of Madinah, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, and Eastern regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the wind patterns over the Red Sea are expected to be northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 20-45 km/h in the northern and central parts, while the southern part will experience northwesterly to westerly winds at 10-30 km/h. Wave heights may vary from half a meter to two meters, indicating relatively calm sea conditions.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will shift from northwesterly to westerly in the northern and central regions, while in the southern part, they will transition from easterly to southeasterly, moving in the afternoon to northwesterly to southwesterly with speeds of 10-30 km/h. Wave heights in the Gulf are expected to range from half a meter to one and a half meters, with the sea remaining relatively calm.
