Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather forecast predicting moderate to heavy thunderstorms, which may lead to flash floods, in several regions of Saudi Arabia, including Najran, Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, and Madinah. These storms are expected to be accompanied by hail and gusty winds.

According to Saudi Press Agency, light to moderate rain is anticipated in the southern parts of Eastern, Riyadh, Hail, and Qassim regions. Additionally, there is a possibility of fog forming over the southwestern highlands in these areas, which may affect visibility.

Coastal areas extending from the Madinah region to the Jazan region will experience dust-stirring winds. Over the Red Sea, winds are expected to be northwesterly to westerly, with speeds ranging from 20 to 55 km/h in the central and southern parts. Wave heights may vary from one meter to over two meters, resulting in conditions ranging from calm to choppy seas.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly at speeds of 15 to 30 km/h. The wave heights are expected to range from half a meter to one and a half meters, with the sea remaining relatively calm.
