Riyadh: Weather conditions across Saudi Arabia are expected to vary considerably on Monday, with thunderstorms, gusty winds, and extreme temperatures impacting several regions. According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has forecasted thunderstorms accompanied by hail and gusty winds over parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and the southern highlands of the Makkah Region. The Eastern, Riyadh, and Qassim regions will experience hot to extremely hot weather conditions. Additionally, gusty winds that stir up dust will affect these areas, as well as parts of the Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, Tabuk, Madinah, and Najran regions. The winds are expected to reduce horizontal visibility to near zero along the coasts of the Makkah Region. Over the Red Sea, winds will vary from northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 15-45 km/h in the northern and central parts, and from southwesterly to northwesterly at speeds of 15-55 km/h in the southern part. Waves in the Red Sea will range from half a meter to ov er two and a half meters, with the sea conditions being calm to choppy. In the Arabian Gulf, winds are projected to be northeasterly to northwesterly at speeds of 15-34 km/h in the northern part, and southeasterly to northeasterly at speeds of 10-23 km/h in the central and southern parts. The wave heights are expected to range from half a meter to one meter, with the sea remaining calm.
