The Security Media Cell announced the outcome of the fifth page of Operation Swords of Truth.

A statement by the Cell stated that the Iraqi army forces, the Peshmerga, the Ministry of Interior and the Popular Mobilization Forces, with support from the Air Force and Army Aviation, and technical detachments from the Directorate of Military Intelligence and other support and service categories, carried out, on May 27-28, the fifth phase of Operation Swords of Truth, which included areas of common interest between the center and the region, and according to accurate intelligence information in Diyala, Tuz Khurmato and Kirkuk, (43) terrorist dens, (3) tunnels, (11) explosive devices, (5) 82mm mortar bombs and (4) 60mm bombs were found, and a monitoring point was destroyed, in addition to confiscating (3) motorcycles, a bicycle, and a quantity of cooking utensils and furnishings.
