TDF to Join Momentum 2025 to Boost Investment in Saudi Tourism Ecosystem

Riyadh: The Tourism Development Fund (TDF), the national enabler for the Kingdom’s tourism sector, will participate as a hosting partner in the Development Finance Conference (Momentum 2025) in Riyadh. The conference will be hosted by the National Development Fund (NDF) at King Abdulaziz International Conference Center from December 9 to 11. Development funds and banks under the NDF umbrella will also join the conference, alongside leaders of financial and development institutions, decision makers, investors, and experts from around the world. Momentum 2025 will discuss the future of development finance and the prospects for partnerships aimed at advancing promising sectors.

According to Saudi Press Agency, TDF Chief Executive Qusai A. Al-Fakhri said the fund views tourism as a key economic driver for growth and development and seeks to turn the sector’s potential into fundable and executable investments. Al-Fakhri emphasized that the TDF’s focus goes beyond project financing to include empowering the private sector and supporting entrepreneurs. He added that the fund aims to build an integrated ecosystem that encourages the promotion of sustainable tourist destinations that generate positive social impact and enhance the quality of the tourism experience across the Kingdom.

At Momentum 2025, the TDF will showcase both financial solutions and non-financial empowerment programs through its TDF Grow center, the fund’s non-financial enabling arm. TDF Grow aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises and strengthen entrepreneurs’ capacities, helping to expand the sector’s investment base and promote the development of tourism destinations across Saudi Arabia.
