Madinah: The Takamul Forum for Smart Transformation in Volunteering 2025 concluded on Wednesday, organized by the Wifada Association in Madinah in partnership with the Al Madinah Al Munawarah Chamber. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Abdulfattah bin Sulaiman Mashat, along with leaders from government, private, and non-profit sectors, and featured the participation of specialists and volunteers.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in his speech during the ceremony, Chairman of Wifada Association’s Board Dr. Hashem bin Hamza Nour emphasized that smart transformation represents a promising path for the future of volunteer work, contributing to enhancing creativity, efficiency, and impact within the volunteer system. The ceremony featured a presentation of the panel discussions’ and workshops’ recommendations and outcomes, which addressed the future of cross-sector integration through smart technologies. It also included a film showcasing field experiences and successful models in serving volunteers and visitors to Madinah.
The forum also witnessed the signing of several partnership agreements aimed at expanding the scope of volunteer initiatives and improving operational tools through innovative technological solutions that support community development.
