Beekeepers in Taif are keen on boosting honey production, and give particular importance to preserving its natural properties, from the moment they cut the honeycombs till the golden liquid reaches the consumer, thus ensuring that their product is of great quality, up to the highest standards and specifications.

Beekeeper Mohsen Al-Madhayfi told a Saudi Press Agency reporter that his approximately 500 beehives produce 70 to 130 kilograms per honey season.

According to him, sites such as Sarat Taif and Tihama have many wild flowers and an abundance of aromatic trees that attract bees.
