Tabuk: The Cultural Caf© in Tabuk, the literary partner of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, organized a workshop yesterday on writing manga stories set in Saudi Arabia. The workshop brought together young men and women interested in manga and animation and focused on transforming local environments into creative material for visual storytelling in the manga style, combining writing, drawing, and artistic thinking.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the sessions covered practical topics, including story development rooted in local context and cultural identity. They also addressed techniques for drawing Arab features and traditional Saudi attire in a contemporary manga style that preserves authenticity while appealing to new generations.

The workshop forms part of the Cultural Caf©'s ongoing efforts to empower youth, nurture creative talent, and open new horizons in visual storytelling and content creation, in alignment with local identity and modern creative trends.
