Riyadh: The participation of the Saving Food Association in Tabuk Region at the 2026 agricultural products festival has provided an opportunity to strengthen communication with local farmers and explore mechanisms for cooperation to make use of excess agricultural produce fit for consumption and deliver it to eligible beneficiaries in accordance with safety and quality standards.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Chairman of the association's board of directors, Dr. Fahd Al-Balawi, stated that their participation reflects the association's commitment to promoting a culture of saving food and reducing food waste in the region. He explained that the participation aims to raise public awareness of the importance of preserving food and other resources.
Dr. Al-Balawi called on farmers, producers, and festival visitors to learn about the association's efforts and support its programs, thereby maximizing the use of excess agricultural produce and ensuring it reaches eligible beneficiaries.
