The Arab clans in Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria, announced a general mobilization against all components of SDF as part of clearing the entire countryside of Deir ez-Zor, amid the clans’ control over large areas in the western countryside of the governorate and the expulsion of the Asayish.
The sheikh of the Bakara tribe, Nawaf al-Bashir, confirmed in a statement to the Syrian "Al-Watan", that "the clans' uprising will not stop until achieving its goals by expelling strangers from the Kurds of Mount Qandil and those who support them from the Syrian lands," stressing that the next few days will witness the purification of the entire countryside of Deir ez-Zor from these people. .
Al-Bashir pointed out that the clans have so far controlled large areas in the western countryside of the governorate and expelled the Asayish and controlled their checkpoints in New Aqidat, New Bakara, the town of Saadouneh and Al-Shatha, in addition to liberating the city of Al-Sour and Muayzilah, and fighting is taking place in several other areas, and almost complete control over the area virginity.
He also expressed his hope "to be able to expel SDF within 72 hours from the entire western countryside of Deir ez-Zor towards Hasakah, because the tribes will not accept the presence of individuals from Mount Qandil and control of oil and gas."
Regarding the statements issued the day before yesterday by some clans calling for dialogue with the international coalition forces, Al-Bashir stressed that the position of the clans is the same in liberating Deir ez-Zor, and this is not only the position of the Deir ez-Zor clans, but also the clans of Raqqa, Aleppo and Hasakah.
Al-Bashir stressed that “the Arab tribes’ project is a purely national project and they will never accept the presence of the American occupation and its tools. The next few days will be for the benefit of the Syrian people. The tribes will not stop except by expelling the last fighter from Mount Qandil, and will not accept anything other than the Syrian flag that will fly above our heads, and no other flag."
The Arab tribes had announced a general mobilization following a meeting that took place at Ahmed Al-Khubail’s headquarters in the village of Al-Rubaida, and they called on the international coalition to fulfill their demands to release those detained by the SDF, the first of whom is Al-Khubail, “commander of the Deir ez-Zor Military Council, Ahmed Al-Khubail Abu Khawla,” and his companions, and to lift the siege on those trapped in Al-Hasakah and return them to their families. /End
