Riyadh: Syria condemned in the strongest terms the attempted UAV attack targeting oil facilities in Saudi Arabia, launched by Iran-backed militias from Iraqi territory.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Syria described the attempted attack as a violation of Saudi Arabia's security and stability and a threat to regional security.

The ministry underscored Syria's solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures the Kingdom takes to safeguard its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

Syria also reaffirmed its call for respect for the sovereignty of states and for rejecting all actions that undermine security and stability in the region.
