Almaty: The Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud International Linguistic Training Program was inaugurated today at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan. Organized by the Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Foundation in cooperation with the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), the program is part of the foundation’s efforts to promote Arabic language education in Central Asia and strengthen its role as a bridge for cultural and civilizational exchange among nations.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the program, running from November 11 to 14, 2025, aims to enhance the skills of Arabic language teachers for non-native speakers, improve their linguistic and pedagogical capabilities, and promote scientific and cultural cooperation between educational institutions in Central Asia. Chairman of the Board and Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Dr. Zhanseit Tuimebayev praised the program as a reflection of the foundation’s humanitarian and developmental vision, emphasizing its mission to serve humanity and foster intercultural communication through language, culture, and knowledge.
The initiative is part of the foundation’s broader strategy to support Arabic language education for non-native speakers worldwide and to advance Saudi Arabia’s efforts in promoting the Arabic language and its culture, underscoring the foundation’s enduring role in education, culture, and development.
