stc Group Reports 3.8% Revenue Growth in First Half of 2026

Riyadh: stc group has announced its interim financial results for the period ending June 30, 2026, showcasing a revenue increase to SAR40,110 million, marking a 3.8% growth compared to the same period last year.

According to Saudi Press Agency, stc group's gross profit reached SAR19,637 million, reflecting a 5.3% increase. Meanwhile, the operating profit saw a 7.8% rise, totaling SAR7,771 million. Earnings before Interest, Taxes, Zakat, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) reached SAR12,968 million, up by 5.5% compared to the previous year.

Net profit for the first half of 2026 saw a 6.3% increase after excluding non-recurring items. The company announced a SAR0.55 per share distribution for the second quarter, amounting to a SAR2.7 billion payout to shareholders as per the approved dividend distribution policy.

stc group CEO, Eng. Olayan bin Mohammed Alwetaid, highlighted the group's solid financial and operational performance, emphasizing the successful execution of strategic priorities. The group's business model has proven resilient, enabling continued growth and value delivery to shareholders.

Alwetaid noted a 4.8% increase in stc mobile customers in the Kingdom, reaching 30.3 million. Fixed customers rose by 3.0% to 6.1 million. The number of 5G towers increased to 12,120, and fiber-optic network-connected households grew by 5.2% to 3.87 million.

During the Hajj season, stc played a key role in providing connectivity services and AI-powered digital solutions, ensuring uninterrupted digital services. The group signed an agreement with ROSHN Group to develop neutral fiber-optic infrastructure for the SEDRA community in Riyadh, promoting operational efficiency through shared infrastructure.

stc also extended a memorandum with HUMAIN to establish a joint venture via center3, a subsidiary, and advanced its partnership with AST and Science, LLC, aiming to offer satellite communication services through direct-to-device technology.

The group continued to expand STC Bank, reflecting in increased customer base, deposits, and investment portfolios, contributing to revenue and profitability growth. It launched stc cloud, powered by Oracle Alloy, the Kingdom's first sovereign cloud solution, to accelerate digital transformation.

stc's commitment to sustainability was affirmed with its seventh annual Sustainability Report for 2025 and an AA rating in the MSCI ESG assessment. The group maintained its strong financial position with stable credit ratings from major rating agencies.

stc's local content initiatives, through the rawafed program, achieved a local content ratio of 50.69%, earning it the Local Content Award for Large Enterprises for the third consecutive year from the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority.
