Riyadh: stc group, through its digital infrastructure subsidiary center3, and HUMAIN, a company under the Public Investment Fund (PIF) specializing in artificial intelligence capabilities, have announced a joint venture partnership aimed at building AI data centers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this collaboration will focus on developing and operating advanced infrastructure capable of supporting up to 1 GW of AI workloads. The joint venture combines center3’s expertise in data-center operations and regional connectivity with HUMAIN’s strategic focus on comprehensive AI capabilities. This partnership aims to establish a solid foundation for high-capacity and low-latency infrastructure, essential for the AI-driven future.
CEO of stc group Olayan Alwetaid highlighted the importance of this partnership, stating that it reinforces their commitment to the region’s digital future. The collaboration aims to combine HUMAIN’s leadership in AI with center3’s data-center expertise to enhance the region’s capacity for hosting next-generation AI workloads.
CEO of HUMAIN Tareq Amin emphasized the need for purpose-built compute, efficiency, and resilience in the AI domain. He stated that the joint venture with stc group is focused on engineering infrastructure that can handle demanding workloads while supporting future technological advancements.
