According to Saudi Press Agency, the practice is a well-established seasonal tradition among families and youth, who venture into the desert once conditions favor the mushroom's growth. Experienced foragers noted that distinguishing edible specimens requires familiarity with the mushroom's texture and freshness, citing its nutritional value and distinctive flavor among its key draws.
