Mecca: In a remarkable display of faith that reflects the spirituality of Ramadan, millions of pilgrims and worshippers gathered at the Grand Mosque on the 28th night of the holy month. Moments of devotion and supplication blended with scenes of seamless organization and the wide range of services the Kingdom provides to pilgrims.
According to Saudi Press Agency, these scenes of faith were documented, capturing the sanctity of both place and time as streams of pilgrims and worshippers flowed into the Grand Mosque in a continuous movement of prayer and reflection.
SPA correspondents toured the corridors, courtyards, and circumambulation area surrounding the Kaaba inside the Grand Mosque, as well as the roads leading to the mosque and the surrounding central area. They recorded scenes of worshippers performing their rituals in a comfortable, tranquil atmosphere, supported by comprehensive services across multiple sectors.
The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, along with other relevant authorities operating within the mosque complex, worked to manage crowds and accommodate the growing number of worshippers praying in the mosque and its courtyards. These efforts included organizing movement, facilitating access to designated prayer areas, and ensuring the availability of essential services.
SPA cameras also captured the spiritual atmosphere during the Isha prayer and Taraweeh prayer, highlighting the coordinated efforts of government agencies to ensure smooth movement both inside and around the Grand Mosque.
Services included the provision of Zamzam water and other facilities designed to ensure that visitors could perform their prayers and acts of worship in a comfortable and peaceful environment.
