“SPA” documents finalizing travel procedures for Moroccan pilgrims

Casablanca, Saudi Press Agency’s ”SPA" cameras have documented the process of finalizing the travel procedures for Moroccan pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj this year, as part of the “Makkah Route Initiative", which aims to facilitate the travel procedures of pilgrims.

The stages of completing the procedures include ensuring that the pilgrims meet the conditions and specifications of travel, including health requirements before departure, to enable the pilgrims to head to their place of residence directly after the plane lands at the airport, without the need to verify their vaccination certificates, or take any other preventive measures, in addition to coding and sorting luggage per transportation and accommodation arrangements in the Kingdom. Upon arrival at the airport, the pilgrims are escorted to the Makkah Route Initiative hall, where they are welcomed and distributed to the counters to finalize their entry procedures into the Kingdom

The Makkah Route Initiative, which was launched by the Ministry of Interior, is being implemented with the participation of the Ministries of "Foreign Affairs, Hajj, and Umrah, and Health", the General Authority of Civil Aviation, the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority, Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, SDAIA, Pilgrim Experience Program, the General Directorate of Passports, and Elm Company
