Jazan: The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) yesterday documented the natural scenes resulting from heavy rainfall in 'Lina Historic,' south of Rafha in Northern Borders Region, where the area was covered in white due to dense hail, creating a striking scene reflecting the beauty of nature.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Lina Historic and several nearby villages experienced moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by hail, contributing to increased stream flow, the descent of water from slopes and channels, and land saturation.

The rainy conditions have continued across parts of the region since Monday evening, amid distinctive spring weather.

The automated early warning system of the National Center for Meteorology indicated that conditions remain favorable for the formation of thunderstorm clouds over most governorates of Northern Borders Region in the coming days, which may be accompanied by active winds reducing horizontal visibility, along with the possibility of hail and flash floods.
