Rafha: A rare solar halo appeared in the skies over Rafha Governorate in Northern Borders Region yesterday afternoon, a phenomenon caused by sunlight refracting and reflecting through ice crystals in the upper atmosphere.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Barjas Al-Fulaih of the AFAQ Society for Astronomy stated that the halo indicates high upper-atmospheric humidity and often signals upcoming weather changes, depending on shifting climatic factors.
