Six Relief Trucks Deliver 129 Tons of Aid to Abyan, Yemen

Riyadh: Six relief trucks carrying 129 tons of food baskets provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) arrived yesterday in Yemen's Abyan Governorate as part of the second phase of the emergency food assistance project in the Republic of Yemen.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the trucks were unloaded at the project's designated warehouses in Abyan Governorate, where all inspection and verification procedures were completed to ensure the supplies met required standards. The food baskets will be distributed to the most vulnerable families, host communities, and displaced people in coordination with the governorate's local authorities.

The assistance is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ongoing humanitarian and relief efforts, delivered through KSrelief, to strengthen food security and meet basic needs across Yemen's governorates.
