Al madinah: Shuttle bus services to the Prophet's Mosque will begin earlier than usual on the 28th day of Ramadan, leading into the night of Ramadan 29, when Quran recitation is completed at the mosque during the blessed month.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Al Madinah Region Development Authority said the service will start at 12 PM and continue until 30 minutes after the Tahajjud prayer. The move allows larger numbers of worshippers and visitors to reach the mosque easily by ensuring smoother traffic flow during this blessed night.
More than 250 buses will be deployed as part of an operational plan designed to handle the expected crowds, according to the authority. The shuttle routes will run directly to the Prophet's Mosque from several gathering stations across Madinah.
The designated stations include Al-Khalidiyah, King Fahd, Shatha, Al-Hadiqa, Sayyid Al-Shuhda, Al-Salam College, and the Sports Stadium stations.
The authority said the service is part of ongoing efforts to organize transportation and facilitate the movement of the Prophet Mosque's visitors on the night of the Quran's completed recitation.
