The G20 Parliamentary Speakers Summit (P20) kicked off today in New Delhi, India, hosted by the Indian Parliament, in cooperation with the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), themed the "Parliaments for One Earth, One Family, One Future," with the participation of the Saudi delegation, led by Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh.
Al Al-Sheikh, in a press statement, stressed the Kingdom's keenness and commitment under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, and Prime Minister, to actively participate in global forums, regional and international summits, and conferences, given the political and economic importance of the Kingdom represents at all levels.
In his statement, the speaker noted the active participation of the Kingdom in the 18th G20 summit in India, headed by HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the results it achieved as its final statement stressed the commitment to expedite the approved measures to address environmental crises and challenges, and the importance of cooperation to confront the challenges that affect the global economy.
