Shura Council Speaker Meets Pakistan Prime Minister to Discuss Strengthening Ties

Islamabad: Shura Council Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al Sheikh met with the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, in Islamabad to discuss bilateral relations.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al Sheikh conveyed greetings from His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Pakistani Prime Minister. The Crown Prince expressed his wishes for continued progress and prosperity for Pakistan’s government and its people.

Prime Minister Sharif reciprocated by asking Al Sheikh to convey his greetings to HRH the Crown Prince, along with his wishes for Saudi Arabia’s continued prosperity and well-being. Sharif praised the significant changes in Saudi Arabia under Saudi Vision 2030, led by HRH the Crown Prince, which have spurred the Kingdom’s development and economic progress. He emphasized the strong historical and fraternal ties between the two nations.

The Shura Council speaker acknowledged the historical relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, highlighting the rapid development in Saudi Arabia under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince. This progress has bolstered the Kingdom’s regional and international standing.

The discussions between the two officials focused on enhancing ties across various fields and reviewing issues of mutual interest.
