Cairo: The Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh has commenced an official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt, leading a delegation from the Shura Council. The visit comes in response to an invitation from Speaker of the Egyptian House of Representatives Counselor Dr. Hanafy Gebali.

According to Saudi Press Agency, as part of the visit, Dr. Al Al-Sheikh will meet with Dr. Gebali to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations, particularly in the parliamentary field, and sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation between the Shura Council and the Egyptian House of Representatives.

A number of Shura Council members will accompany the Shura Speaker during the visit.
