Shopping Mall Campaign Sparks Culinary Innovations with Saudi Dates

Riyadh: The National Center for Palms and Dates organized awareness events in shopping malls across the Kingdom to promote the use of dates in a variety of dishes and beverages, aiming to increase the economic value of dates and their contribution to the national economy, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the events attracted large numbers of visitors and tourists, who showed interest in the innovative foods and beverages sweetened with dates. Exhibitors introduced creative recipes featuring dates in dishes such as kabsa, jareesh, pasta, and a variety of local and international baked goods.

The center said the campaign expands the use of Saudi dates in everyday diets by encouraging restaurants, caf©s, and bakeries to develop date-based products and dishes. It also involves launching digital platforms showcasing innovative recipes for date-sweetened foods and beverages, highlighting new opportunities for innovation and promoting the wider adoption of Saudi dates across all segments of society.
