Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Second Deputy Chairman Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa congratulated His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, SCYS First Deputy Chairman, Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA) and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), on the winning of KHK Racing’s colt, "Vandeek", in winning Sumbe Prix Morny (G1) after clinching the first place in the 1200-metre race at Deauville, France.

Shaikh Daij bin Salman hailed the royal care accorded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, commending the support of the Government to the sports sector.

He expressed thanks and gratitude to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalid, and hailed his efforts which contributed to enhancing Bahrain’s standing in the world.
