Riyadh: The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) participated in a three-day series of meetings organized by the Guests of Allah Awareness Center at the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, aimed at enhancing preparedness for the upcoming Hajj season.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the SFDA conducted specialized workshops for over 500 participants, including Hajj and Umrah service providers, Hajj Affairs office representatives, and officials from these sectors. The workshops covered key topics, focusing on regulations regarding the transport of personal and restricted medications. Participants were also informed about opportunities for development and enhancements in performance and service delivery.

In addition, the workshops highlighted the latest updates to relevant regulations and requirements, aiming to enhance the quality of services offered to pilgrims.
