Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has issued a forecast indicating that moderate to heavy thunderstorms, which may be accompanied by hail and result in flash floods, are expected to impact parts of the Jazan and Aseer regions. Additionally, light to moderate rainfall is anticipated over the Al-Baha, Makkah, and Eastern regions. Parts of these areas, along with sections of the Riyadh and Madinah regions, will experience gusty winds that could stir up dust, leading to near-zero horizontal visibility in parts of the Najran Region and along the coastal road leading to Jazan.

According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea are predicted to be northwesterly to southwesterly at speeds of 10-25 km/h in the northern and central parts, while in the southern part they will shift from southwesterly to northwesterly at speeds of 12-45 km/h. The sea conditions will vary from calm to choppy, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to over two meters.

In the Arabian Gulf, the winds are expected to be westerly to northwesterly in the northern and central parts, and northeasterly to easterly at speeds of 10-45 km/h in the southern part. Similar to the Red Sea, the sea will be calm to choppy with waves ranging from half a meter to over two meters.
