Senior Cyclist Breaks Boundaries at Asian Road Cycling Championship 2026

Qassim region: At 71, cyclist Rinat Ahmed Beritkov became the oldest participant in the Asian Road Cycling Championship 2026, held in Qassim Region until February 13, after he competed in the masters category for athletes over 70.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Beritkov represented Kazakhstan, having started cycling at the age of 13. He considers his lifelong involvement in the sport as more than just a hobby, viewing it as a way of life that has consistently provided him with energy and motivation over the years.

During his first visit to the Kingdom, Beritkov expressed great satisfaction with the event's organization, describing the championship as the most well-organized and comprehensive he had ever experienced.
