Riyadh: A session at the Security and History Dialogue 2026 Conference examined how educational and community institutions strengthen national identity among youth, given the current generation's exposure to diverse ideas and information.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the session examined the institutional mechanisms that contribute to the formation of national identity and the instilling of its values among young people, highlighting the roles of family, school, university, volunteer programs, and extracurricular activities in this regard.
The session emphasized the role of the Kingdom's social environment in transmitting these values to residents through daily interaction and participation in various activities and events, reflecting the character of Saudi society and its deeply rooted values.
Additionally, it highlighted the role of volunteer programs and extracurricular activities at Saudi universities in strengthening young people's connection to their communities, encouraging their active contribution to improving quality of life, and reinforcing national identity in its various dimensions.
