Jeddah: The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Mr. Hussein Ibrahim Taha, has received the credentials of Dr. Yaqub Gambo, the new Permanent Representative of Nigeria. The meeting took place at the General Secretariat headquarters in Jeddah, where Dr. Gambo presented his credentials as Nigeria's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative to the OIC.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Mr. Taha welcomed Dr. Gambo and expressed his wishes for the ambassador's success in his new role. The meeting included discussions on issues of mutual interest and explored areas for cooperation and coordination between the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and Nigeria. The two officials also deliberated on strategies to enhance Islamic solidarity and promote joint action among member states.
