Cairo, The Secretary-General of Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit met today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides, who is currently visiting Cairo.

During the meeting, developments on the regional and international arenas were reviewed, in particular the developments of the Palestinian cause.

Aboul Gheit welcomed the ceasefire agreement in Gaza and praised the Arab efforts, in particular, in reaching this agreement.
