Mina: The Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) reported a record electricity load of 358 megawatts in Mina on the second day of Eid Al-Adha, reflecting a 4% increase compared to last year. The company confirmed that its technical teams are fully prepared and continuously monitoring network performance, with no service-affecting outages recorded.
According to Saudi Press Agency, SEC has maintained a sufficient reserve electricity capacity in Makkah and the holy sites to ensure efficient and uninterrupted service for pilgrims. The operational plan is proceeding on schedule, with over 2,200 engineers and technicians deployed across 57 centers in the central area and pilgrim accommodation zones to ensure service sustainability throughout the Hajj season.
