SDAIA President Meets OECD Secretary-General to Explore AI Advancements

New delhi: President of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, who also heads the Kingdom's delegation to the India AI Impact Summit 2026, met today with Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Mathias Cormann.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting addressed ways to enhance existing cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the OECD in data and artificial intelligence. Discussions focused on developing regulatory frameworks and policies that support innovation, strengthen good governance principles, and promote the responsible use of advanced technologies globally.

The SDAIA President reaffirmed the Kingdom's commitment to expanding international partnerships in the AI field, exchanging expertise and global best practices. This commitment aims to strengthen Saudi Arabia's leadership position in this vital sector and support the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
