Riyadh: The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) announced the opening of registration to attend the International Capacity Building in Data and Artificial Intelligence Conference (ICAN 2026), scheduled to take place from January 28 to 29, 2026, at King Saud University in Riyadh. The conference will bring together experts from more than 50 international and local entities, as well as academics and specialists in education and artificial intelligence from around the world. According to Saudi Press Agency, the conference is organized by SDAIA in strategic partnership with Elm, with academic partnership from King Saud University and knowledge partnership with the Human Capability Development Program. It will feature global dialogue sessions, interactive workshops, and a technology exhibition showcasing the latest solutions in education and digital transformation. The program also includes signing strategic partnerships with international universities and institutions, as well as launching qualitative initiatives to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s digital capability ecosystem.
The conference will convene decision-makers in the education sector, experts, and academics from government entities, universities, and leading technology companies to discuss the future of human capability building in data and artificial intelligence. Discussions will also address the future of work, ways to enhance integration between humans and technology, and the latest AI applications in education and training.
