Riyadh: The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), in collaboration with Nvidia, yesterday launched a professional training program through its Generative AI Academy. The program aims to empower national competencies with advanced tools for building and customizing Large Language Models (LLMs).
According to Saudi Press Agency, the program is designed to qualify participants with the skills and knowledge required to build and customize generative AI models. It seeks to enable them to develop advanced applications that achieve high efficiency in the training and deployment of smart models.
Furthermore, it aims to boost their career opportunities by having them obtain professional certifications from Nvidia, thereby supporting technological development and the building of national capabilities in AI fields.
The program runs for two weeks and is delivered via a self-paced learning mechanism, allowing generative AI specialists to develop their skills in building LLMs in a practical and advanced manner.
Upon successful completion of the program, trainees will receive a prestigious professional certification from Nvidia, titled “Nvidia-Certified Associate: Generative AI LLMs,” which is recognized globally in this domain.
The launch of the program is part of SDAIA’s efforts to enable national talent to acquire advanced technical knowledge in generative AI, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 toward a knowledge- and innovation-based economy.
