SDAIA Expands Operations to Support Hajj Season with 89 Sites

Mecca: The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) expanded its efforts during the 1447 AH Hajj season to include the operation and support of 75 sites in the holy sites, in addition to 14 screening sites and security control centers.

According to Saudi Press Agency, SDAIA's efforts encompassed the provision of technical systems and services, supervision of infrastructure and communications rooms, and the equipping of workstations, all connected to SDAIA's network. This was coordinated with the Ministry of Interior and other entities serving pilgrims.

The operations also involved preventive maintenance, immediate handling of technical reports, and training of participating personnel on modern systems and digital platforms. These measures aim to enhance the efficiency of operational processes and increase the readiness of field sites during the Hajj season.

The initiatives are part of an integrated technical system implemented by SDAIA. This system is developed in cooperation with relevant government entities, utilizing data and AI technologies to support services provided to pilgrims and ensure operational flow and technical readiness across the holy sites and related entry points.
