Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Standing Committee of International Humanitarian Law (SCIHL) Abdullah Alrwailly and President of the International Institute of Humanitarian Law in Sanremo (IIHL) Giorgio Battisti signed a joint executive program between the two organizations in Riyadh.
According to Saudi Press Agency, under this program, the SCIHL becomes an official accreditation body for providing specialized courses in international humanitarian law. This will enhance its status, raise awareness, and disseminate the principles of humanitarian law at local and international levels.
The program aims to enhance integration in training and rehabilitation, facilitate the exchange of experiences, leverage specialized expertise, and foster cooperation in relevant research, studies, and consultations. This collaboration aligns with the SCIHL’s continuous efforts to promote the principles of international humanitarian law and spread its culture globally.
