SBA Signs Memorandum to Enhance Quran Recitation Dissemination

Mecca: The Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA) signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, aiming to enhance collaboration in serving the Holy Quran and the dissemination of Quranic recitations. The agreement was formalized by Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, President of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, and Ali Alzaid, Chief Executive Officer of SBA. According to Saudi Press Agency, the memorandum focuses on producing recorded Quran recitations by the imams of the Two Holy Mosques. It aims to develop evaluation and nomination standards to ensure high-quality recitation and performance, contributing to the global reach of these recitations. Additionally, the memorandum outlines the publishing of these recordings through official channels and platforms, ensuring rights are preserved and dissemination is enhanced. This collaboration marks a significant step in promoting the accessibility and appreciation of Quranic recitations worldwide.
