Saudi University Alumni Forum in Balkans Concludes in Tirana, Highlights Cultural and Educational Ties

Tirana: The Forum of Alumni from Saudi Universities in the Balkans concluded today in Tirana, Albania, reaffirming the Kingdom’s commitment to fostering sustainable educational and cultural partnerships with the region. The event was organized by Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, the Islamic University of Madinah, and Umm Al-Qura University, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Saudi Embassy in Albania.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the forum brought together a group of Saudi university graduates from Balkan countries, along with academic experts and representatives of participating institutions. Over three days, the forum featured a series of academic sessions and open discussions that addressed key issues related to Arabic language instruction, promoting a culture of moderation, and strengthening ties among alumni.

In its closing statement, the forum emphasized the importance of harnessing the potential of Saudi university graduates in the Balkans to make contributions in the areas of education, scientific research, and community engagement. The statement also underscored the graduates’ role in supporting efforts to promote the Arabic language and to strengthen cultural and intellectual relations between Saudi Arabia and the countries of the region.
