Phoenix: The Saudi science and engineering team has completed its final preparations for the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF 2026), taking place in Phoenix, Arizona, the United States, from May 9 to 15. According to Saudi Press Agency, the participating students received their final training sessions today at the team's accommodation. These sessions are part of their last-minute preparations to present their innovative research projects before an international panel of judges at the fair. The training is crucial as it equips the students with the skills and confidence needed to effectively communicate their scientific ideas.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a distinguished history at ISEF, having earned a total of 185 awards in past participations. These accolades include 124 major awards and 61 special awards. In the most recent edition of the fair, Saudi Arabia ranked second globally in major awards, coming in just after the United States. This track record underscores the strength and potential of Saudi students in the fields of science and engineering.
